New Virtual Console Games, Price Tags Included

Ready to be the first purchases of all those bright-eyed, rosy-cheeked little worm babies opening up their shiny new Wiis, R-Type, Street Fighter II, Super Castlevania IV, Toe Jam and Earl and (the pappy of all Nintendo games) Super Mario Brothers debut on the virtual console this morning. However, despite rumors and hoping against hopes, it looks like each of these new titles comes with the standard Wii point price tag. While not terribly surprising, I was looking forward to awarding Nintendo the “Mega-Awesome Company of the Year” trophy for giving away Super Mario Brothers to everybody for free. Ho hum.
That being said, I’ve got 500 festive Wii points to spend and some yule-tide Bowser ass to kick. Happy Festivus everybody!
