New Xbox 360 Chips Delayed

Now I know that the big holiday question everyone’s been asking is “When, oh when, will Microsoft make available an Xbox 360 that uses 65-nanometer Silicon-on-Insulator technology in its CPU?” and as much as I’ve enjoyed hearing all the speculation and hubbub, TeamXbox brings us the bad news that such a move won’t happen until the middle of 2007.
I know, gamers, I know. I, too, was looking forward to replacing my perfectly functional 360 with one that ran cooler and used less energy (I guess that’s what it does, anyway; it could shoot Eggo waffles and call you gay slurs for all I know), but it looks like we’ll have to satisfy ourselves with the humdrum task of buying Wiis and PS3s and enjoying two new gaming systems and all the fun games that come with them.
It’s such a damn chore.

The bigger news is that guy’s freakishly-long, unkempt nails.
Anyway, I’ve promised myself I won’t get an Xbox 360 until these chips are used and the price is much lower. Of course, the price probably won’t satisfy me even when these chips do hit, but it would be nice if they did. Oh, and if these chips made the Xbox 360s quieter, that’d definitely be a plus.
“Eat that big Eggo! Yeah, you love that big Eggo, don’t you boy!”
