Rayman Ad Showcases Both Game And Wii

It’s hard not to love Rayman, simply because of the character’s zany weirdness. Now, it turns out that Rayman: Raving Rabbids is launching alongside the Wii in Europe, and there happens to be a TV advertisement that shows off both the game itself and the capabilities of the title’s minigame/Wiimote coolness.
I have to admit, after having watching this commercial, I really want to pick it up when I get a Wii. The ad is amazing in terms of sheer comedic value, let alone the high-gloss production values. I’m almost tempted to compare it with the Gears of War ad from earlier this year in terms of coolness, albeit in completely different ways.
See the ad after the jump!

Europe has 2-minute long TV commercials? I wonder if this has actually aired anywhere.
Like all the RRR promotional materials, this is borderline genius, possibly more entertaining than the game itself (at least the single player…. with a group it’s non-stop awesome.)
There is certainly no such ad here, looks to me more like an online trailer ad. And, to be honest, there is only so many games comprised of minigames one market can take. Since full-fledged games like Zelda TP already are chock-a-block with them, I really don’t see myself picking up Rayman once I get it…
I too doubt this being a TV commercial, I can however tell you that the game is awesome.
looks like a trailer you’d see in the cinema!
