Sega's Virtua Fighter 5 On The 360 In Summer '07

What’s wrong, El Blaze? Your rippling, chiseled abs are crying out in pain! Not to mention your straining biceps and the taut dewy curve of your chest…
What? You don’t say! Well folks, in some shocking news reported yesterday from IGN it looks like Sega has announced that Virtua Fighter 5 will not be a PS3 exclusive. This move has been gaining momentum in developers no longer willing to devote their entire attention to a single machine. Both Assassin’s Creed and GTA IV, originally portrayed as the system’s major pulls, have made similar moves in recent news. Seems like only Nintendo with it’s huge line-up of in house games takes the trophy home on exclusivity.
Jeff Bell, Vice President of Marketing For Xbox had this to say:
“The Virtua Fighter series from SEGA has one of the most prestigious histories in video games. It’s a franchise that has grown an army of loyal fans both in arcades and on consoles worldwide, and is consistently rated extremely high by the media. Fighting game fans have been hungry for Virtua Fighter 5 and we can now proudly deliver this game with Sega to Xbox 360 gamers around the world.”
Sorry, PlayStation fanboys. At least the PS3 version will be out several months before it is available on the 360. Now where were we, El Blaze?
Xbox 360 Gets Virtua Fighter 5 [IGN]

The only reason that the Wii keeps its big-name exclusives is because all the big-name exclusives that people care about are made by Nintendo. :D
Really, scrolling up and down this picture is quite a funny experience. First i crack up and then drool, and then vice versa.
I’m really hoping this trend continues and Dead Rising gets announced for PS3, because I really don’t want to buy a 360 for one game…
Hurrah! One less reason to get a PS3!
And to think I trashed the 360 when it came out. I very much want one now.
