SHOCKER: Wiimote Injury Lawsuit Filed

I was hoping this wouldn’t happen, but I can’t say I’m terribly surprised. Some scum sucking bottom feeder cheeky little monkey has come up with the clever idea of “going after Nintendo”: for the Wiimote-related injuries we mentioned a few days ago. I’m so ashamed that law firm is near my house:

Those clever cats over at Green Welling LLP slapped Nintendo with a lawsuit citing “Nintendo’s failure to include a remote that is free from defects” as a “breach of Nintendo’s own product warranty.” Apparently the nefarious straps were engineering the whole thing, since GW LLP claims “Owners of the Nintendo Wii reported that when they used the Nintendo remote and wrist strap, as instructed by the material that accompanied the Wii console, the wrist strap broke and caused the remote to leave the user’s hand.”

Wow… apparently Jack Thompson has competition now for legal idiocy against the gaming industry.

Hmmm… Apparently these wrist straps are sentient and mobile if they “caused the remote to leave the user’s hand.”

The buggers must be pretty strong too if they can pry the grip off of an adult gamer. I know my grip is pretty good… Years of practice.

I was under the impression that centripetal force caused the remote to leave most of the user’s hands primarily by them being a jackass with it.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
