Steven Colbert Takes On Wil Wright
Steven Colbert has shown himself to be quite the tech savvy gamer lately with his recent piece on the Wii. Now he goes a step further and interviews the father of The Sims and the upcoming Spore, Wil Wright. Poor Wil, no matter how smart he is, he is no match for the razor sharp wit of Colbert, who voices a hilarious opinion on The Sims that I’ve often thought of myself…
Why do I have to go into another world to live a life just as mundane?
YES! I’m glad somebody finally said it!

Hilarious. I wish we got the Colbert Report over here. The only thing we get is on half hour a week of the Daily Show. I want more of the Daily Show and more of Colbert damn it.
Oh and I played the Sims because I could get all kinds of playercreated skins and get videogame/comics/... characters to all these ‘mundane’ things.
In fact the reason I never got into Sims 2 was because their highly customizable skins appearantly didn’t lend themselves well to skinmaking. At least I never found all that many or never got them to work propperly.
Unfortunately, my life is much more mundane than the ones my Sims usually end up leading. Only in my wildest dreams could I get as much action as they do.
“Nerdrection” Enough said.
