Super Swing Golf is Super #*%!*$ing Hard!

I’m not a huge golf fan, unless we’re talking mini-golf, and from the look of the Super Swing Golf screens and box cover, I was expecting that sort of experience. Well, believe me when I tell you that SSG is just as hard and aggravating as it is cute and colorful.
I played for a good four or five hours and didn’t even get past the second course! Do not let the cutsey-ness fool you, this game will kick your ass. Well, now that I’ve been completely mortified by having the Wii pwn me, I’m going to move on to my other game purchase of the day Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Hopefully in four hours I can get a bit further than level 2, otherwise I shall have to hang my head in shame and sit in the corner wearing a dunce cap.

PoR is a great game. It’s a little weird at first having two characters to deal with, but you get the hang of having a sidekick around after about an hour or so.
ohhh… dont kill yourself fruit brute!
portrait of ruin is nice, and good in the traditional castlevania style, but you can rest assured that in four hours you’ll be plenty far… it took about 2 days to complete that game (without all the sidequests, of course, but i don’t see that taking too much longer. unlike my other recent ds purchase, yoshi’s island, which, once you get up to world five, becomes insanely difficult and obnoxious. plus on one of the wario levels i keep missing one of the red coins. i can’t figure out where. it’s driving me nuts.
off to play twilight princess now, since the stalk market is low today.
i was never really interested in this game. Wii Golf was hard enough! grrr
um, after reviewing my earlier tryptophan-induced comment posting of which i am utterly mortified, i would like to amend that not only am i a total geek for animal crossing, i’m also a super-cute, intelligent, hip and all-around swell guy whose only respite from the holiday family business comes in the form of ds escape.
am also accepting boyfriend applications from cute chicago boys.
right.
and i second the wii golf difficulties. is it just me or is putting a nightmare?
Yup I agree about the putting. I think its probably the biggest reason for flying wiimotes. I’m thinking ninty left some wiggle room for improvements in future golf games.
I’ve been playing this game for the last 8 months online its called abatross18 its the most fun and free online golf I’ve ever played there’s up too 30player turnies online clans and Guilds, and believe me this game really is a lot harder but in a great way than it looks. I cannot wait too try the Wii version
sigh… im gonna have to buy a Wii just for this game lol
you can find me on alba18 as “C.k.Crackerjack”
cheers everyone
I agree, Yoshi’s Island is the hard one… it starts off easy enough and then BAM. wtf, man…wtf…
