Cooking Mama Wii Makes Housewifery Look Fun
If there is one game I knew was fated to come out on the Wii, it’s Taito’s Cooking Mama. To anyone who’s played the DS version, it’s perfectly addictive fun that works because of the nature of the stylus. Well what is a Wii-mote, dear reader, if not a giant invisible stylus?
To anyone who has watched cooking shows with a relaxed smile on their face for hours, wanted to throw a bunch of shit together in a bowl and call it soup, secretly always wanted to be a sexy chef with an accent and a bunch of expensive kitchen tools… this game is surely for you.
The game will offer a larger variety of food from many different nations, rather than the Japanese-centric cuisine of the DS game. I can only hope that they don’t change the voice of little miss Cooking Mama, because the way she says, “Wondafall! Betta than Mama!” is perhaps one of the cutest things I have ever heard.

OMG! This looks lovely! Was the first game I chose and bought for my DS (parents got me 2)... I nicknamed Mama “Svetlana” because she looks so eastern european. Hearing her have a voice is WEIRD!
I’m getting this for my hubby. He loves cooking, food network, and my Cooking Mama for DS. He’s gonna be so happy to find out there is a wider range of recipe in the WIi version. (^-^ )
