Custom Color PS3s Soon To Hit Market
PCN, the chaps behind the absurdly priced all-white PS3 have realized that they’ve hit onto a cash cow in the form of custom-colored PS3s.
The paint-wielding gurus are already gearing up to post a shiny red unit up for sale in the coming days, with a silver edition to follow suit, and while we can’t be for certain, it seems they just might keep kicking out colored PS3s until the lucrative market dies down. So if you’re interested in picking up one of these uber-limited units, be sure to hit the read link and keep an eye out for sale dates.
If you really want a PS3 that is a color other than black, then go ahead: knock yourself out and shell out over $1000 for one. If you’re just trying to find a console, though, feel free to head down to the Fry’s Electronics near my house since they have a huge pile of the 60 gigabyte units sitting in a bigass pyramid on the floor.

I have to admit, I was really sold on the white PS3 back when they first revealed the system, and I’m still wondering if Sony is going to release those themselves.
For that price, though, I’ll pass.
I would fork up over 1k for a awesome dark orangish color, like burning embers or something coool like that. If they get that out, then I’ll buy. [[if i had the money]
Hee, I can’t stand white pieces of electronics. I just think it looks ugly. Black for me please. :D
