EBGamestop Offers $100 Off PS3 With Trade-In
Now EBGamestop has the right idea to push out those stagnant PS3’s. They are offering $100 off of the PS3 with the trade-in of your PS2, along with all of the items of the list below.
1. A working PS2 power cord, AV cable, and Sony controller
2. A 2nd Sony brand PS2 controller
3. Any brand 8MB PS2 memory card
The offer expires 2/18/2007. This is a great deal. Lowering the price even $100 would make this system more reasonably priced for your average consumer. Sony needs to take note and try to get those systems in their fans’ living rooms. I don’t know how I could part with my working PS2, to play my library of games on the crappy PS2 emulation on the PS3. Still this is a deal, and I don’t see any other company offering $100 off of this system.

would have been a perfect idea if not for the emulation problems.
now if only something like this could have been done with the wii, because what am i supposed to do with my gamecube?
I wonder how many people will return their PS3s to get their PS2s back.

I would be really tempted by this offer, but not until Sony fixes the PS2 emulation problems.
