Gay Gamer of the Week: DCFC Fan & Boyfriend!

Straight or gay: Out and proud. Oh. Out as a gay person. Straight people are proud, too.
Relationship Status: Partnered 8 years last October, still waiting on the wedding. Would settle for a honeymoon.
Consoles/handhelds you own: Currrently our household features NDS x2, X360 (won from Dave and Buster's -- 88,000 tickets), a four day old Wii and a GameCube and a GBA that will soon be on it's way to Get Well Gamers. Previous systems were Atari 2600, NES, SNES, GB, Genesis, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PSP.
Favorite console/handheld: Wow. While I'm a true fanboy at heart, I'm going to try to avoid it here. Wow. It's almost like those people who don't like to admit political affiliation in public for fear of retribution! Gaming fans are rabid these days. But for the sake of argument, the Nintendo DS Lite is hands down my favorite handheld. I'm a relative newcomer to Microsoft, but the 360 and Xbox Live integration truly sets it apart... Mind you, I've only just gotten a Wii, so give it time to catch up!
Favorite game genre: Here are a few of my favorite genres: Unique, quirky, new, innovative, creative, fun. I will pick up and play anything if it holds my attention, from Electroplankton to Cloning Clyde to Star Wars Lego 2 to Twilight Princess. No one slap me because I didn't pick up Gears of War yet. I could hold out on buying a Wii any longer.
Game/s currently being played: A few in order of most recently... Mii Creator, Twilight Princess, Wii Sports, Elite Beat Agents, Small Arms, Viva Pinata, Star Wars Lego 2. Games currently being not played, sitting unopened or unplayed from GameFly? Enchanted Arms, Marvel Ultimate Alliance (360) and Excite Truck.
Top 5 favorite games: While I could wrestle for weeks with scrutiny over titles, reasons and rankings, I'll just list the first five favorites that come to mind that I'm not currently enjoying. Dragon Warrior, Kid Icarus, Final Fantasy (you pick the iteration, not X-2), Metroid, Super Mario Bros.
Other stuff about you: We're fans of the indie scene, both in music and movies, spend time at concerts and events (Scissor Sisters, Erasure, Death Cab, KT Tunstall, Justin Timberlake, Jim Gaffigan are recent or upcoming events). Eventually these moments feel like you're trying to define your essence by listing the essence of others, so if others want to know about me, they are welcome to introduce themselves and find out first hand.
