Gears Of War Achievement Unlocked: Take Over The World
Gears of War has been smashing records and picking up awards right, left and center. Well, now they can add even more accolades to their rapidly growing list of accomplishments.
The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has presented Cliffy B's Epic masterpiece with no less than ten nominations for their upcoming awards ceremony at the DICE conference in Las Vegas. The list of categories is quite impressive, including three real biggies: Overall Game of the Year, Action/Adventure Game of the Year, Console Game of the Year. Also included was a nomination for "Outstanding Character Performance - Male", which I must admit I'm a little baffled by. Marcus Fenix isn't exactly the Sir Laurence Olivier of the Xbox 360. But, I digress...
