Harvest Moon Wii Site Proves Farming Is Easy AND Cute
Fans of the tedium of farming, rejoice! The japanese site for the upcoming Wii Harvest Moon: The Tree of Peace is up! I can only play these games for a few hours before I get utterly bored, but I have a few friends who simply love the cycle of chores, the endlessly plucking of turnips, the search for the perfect gift for the love interest. There isn't much on the site to peruse but there are more than a few screenshots and a look at some of the characters. It looks like in this version, you will be able to start as either a boy or a girl fledgling farmer. Whichever sex you choose, you'll be cute as button on a bonnet worm by a baby lamb surrounded by bunnies.
A couple of love interest girls are shown as well, with the typical dichotomy of fun-loving bakery girl and quiet and intense library girl. Although I know better than to even hope it is possible, perhaps you can choose a same sex partner in your life on the farm? Brokeback Tree of Peace, anyone?
