Heavy Weapon Shooting Up XBLA Next Week
Thrills Killa, of The Xbox Domain, has spoken to an industry insider regarding the overdue 360 XBLA port of PopCap’s Heavy Weapon and confirmed that it is scheduled for release on 01/17/2007. Here’s what was said:
“HW for XBLA is scheduled to launch on 1/17, but there’s no guarantee this will happen. They’re tentatively planning to issue a press release on 1/18, assuming the game goes live on 1/17. “
Still no Worms.... Xbox 360 Fanboy highly recommends that you download the demo for the PC to give it a shot. While I have not downloaded the demo, yet, I’d be happy to hear if any of you have given it a shot. Though, from what I’ve read and heard, it’s supposed to be a blast. Let’s hope we don’t have to pay the full $19.95 PC price tag. It’s games like these that get me pumped up and I cannot wait for Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers (which was also supposed to come out this past holiday season) to hit XBLA, too.

Alien Hominid is awesome!
I just tried the demo. Very fun. It reminds me of Geometry Wars. The graphics look kind of clip-arty though.
