Microsoft Takes Enzyte, Increases XBLA Size Limit

Microsoft has increased the size limit for games arriving on Xbox Live Arcade from 50Mb to 250Mb, which, with Microsoft's approval, could be increased to 450Mb. What does that mean to all you Core system users? Well, you're just out of luck. The files are far too large to fit on the current 64Mb memory cards. So, one has to assume that a larger means of storing information is on the way.
EB Games lists a memory card, due for release on March 1st, that is capable of holding 256Mb. That's a pretty tight fit and I would expect a card with 512Mb os storage to be on the way. As for as hard drive space is concerned, I see this as a way for Microsoft to get people to realize they need a larger hard drive. At that point, they'll release a larger model and people will buy it, or the rumored Zephyr is actually a reality and on it's way. You'll recall a recent report that Microsoft relaxed it's 50Mb limit for the 96Mb Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I knew that would start this kind of trend but I certainly didn't expect something this drastic so soon. Let us hope that with a larger size limit, come better quality games or perhaps some blasts from the past from some older CD-based systems. With the increase of the size limit, what are you expecting?

I swear the guy in the gaygamer logo looks a lot like Bob.
i don't have a core xbox360... can't core owners just buy a hard drive for it or buy the new bigger one that microsoft might come out with and install that on the top of their core xbox360?
Owning a 360 without the hard drive is just...silly. You miss out on 90% of the system's potential without one.
You are correct, Maeror. Now that you mention it, he looks a lot like the GayGamer...also resembles Toots' avatar. I think Toots has a secret lover.
