Nykos Announces New Wireless Game Controllers

I have to admit that I’m usually wary of any third party controllers other than those made by Logitech. Now, Nykos is not a brand I really respect due to some other technological failures in the past (such as that abysmal airflow system for the 360 they put out), but that doesn’t mean they’re going to stop making peripheral devices for the next-gen systems out there. Their newest creation is the wireless Zero controller:
The 2.4GHz wireless controller already available on the PS2 (pictured) will soon be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, giving users another option if you aren’t too fond of the ones already out there. These Zeroes will reportedly feature “heat-dissipating aluminum panels, backlit buttons, and a unique ergonomic design,” but unfortunately, won’t save you any cash in the process, as each of these (along with an apparently less important PC flavor) will be available for $49.99 when they land shortly after CES.
Yeah… sorry Nykos, but after your crappy Air-Flo Xbox controller, I refuse to let any of your devices near my consoles.

Eww, that controller looks awful
Nyko is pretty bad, but I’d trust them more than I ever will MadCatz, who can’t even make a system selector that won’t break within a month (no joke).
Pelican stuff will actually short out your PS2’s controller ports, too…
