Rupture Goes Live For Warcraft Gamers

You may perhaps recall some talk of Rupture, the social network for World of Warcraft players that's being designed by Napster babydaddy Shawn Fanning. (Who I guess, like the rest of us, has turned to WoW to employ all that empty bandwidth we left behind with the golden days of file-sharing.)
The service, which went live this week, is a kinda MySpacey thing for WoWsters, consisting of an add-on for the game, a client for IM and chat, and the website, all of which reputedly work in concert to allow gamers to track and exchange information about their toons, stats, item data, scores, pictures and so forth. For a more in-depth breakdown of Rupture's rapturous routine, refer to the FAQ.
I don't know that I need any more WoW encouragement at the moment, so I'll be sitting this one out for the time being, if only in the name of sanity. But if any of you beautiful ones venture forth into the Rupture, let us know what you think. Or else!

Right now, Rupture is invite only. And it only runs on Windows XP, so I couldn't sign up anyway. I hope they'll add Mac support before they make it all public.
