Square-Enix Weapons Come To (Miniaturized) Life

You gotta love Square-Enix for the way they appeal to their audience: manga comics, cartoons, action figures, and now they've announced replicas of several in-game weapons. The replicas, stemming from all sorts of games like Final Fantasy VII and its spin-off titles, Final Fantasy VIII, and Kingdom Hearts are all sorts of crazy geeky:
The real-life versions are scaled at an uncertain ratio, but will range from a wee 6 inches for Vincent Valentine's triple-barrelled Cerberus handgun to a slightly less wee 10 inches for Seifer Almasy's Gunblade.Other replicas include the Sora's Keyblade and Squall Leonhart's Gunblade.
The weapon replicas are totally cool, in a completely superfluous way, mainly because they don't seem to have a purpose other than serving as decorative paperweights. Now, if the the weapons were life-sized, I'd be all over this simply to say I had a working gunblade.
Square-Enix Issues Master Arms[Kotaku]

I really wanted the Gunblades and Sora's Keyblade. Final Fantasy VIII is my favorite FF game and the gunblade is still one of the coolest weapons in any game.
