Tilt Chair Controller Exercise Peripheral For Only $1700

I was just thinking today that I need something that will ground me. Something that will make me look like a complete jackass to all of my closest friends and family. Oh and that thing better be expensive, because I just love frivolous investments. Thankfully, some Australians came to my rescue with the Dream Machine game controller fitness chair hybrid thing... (cough)
Austrailan Simulation Control Systems claims that this is the first "Multi Modal Physiointeractive Computer Game Control Simulation System." (Right, that's exactly what I thought when I saw it.) The Dream Machine uses a tripod support system with a "multi modal central support crown" to tilt and pan the chair, which translates into onscreen movement. The makers claim that this thing can be used with PC, Xbox and PlayStation games. Also, the company is seeking developers to create games specifically for this device.
The Dream Machine is expensive, complicated and promises you a workout that you could get on any regular fitness machine, or just go outside like a normal person and get some exercise. I don't know anyone in their right mind that would even consider purchasing this overwrought, ridiculous contraption to take up an obscene amount of room in your home. Honestly, this thing looks like it deserves a corner in your local leather bar.

Good lord, i love the fact that they want developers to make games with this crazy thing in mind.
