Developer Removes Castle Crashers From Slamdance

The long road to Slamdance is upon us, the latest scoop comes from the wire. Add another game to the list of finalists who withdrew their games from the Slamdance competition in protest over the removal of Super Columbine Massacre RPG. The makers or Castle Crashers, the Behemoth, has withdrawn their game from the upcoming Slamdance Guerilla Games Competition. They have prepared a statement on the matter. Water Cooler Games reports that the Digipen Incident from yesterday may have been the decisive factor that made Behomoth pull their game.
The Slamdance drama is entering the final act with the festival officially beginning today and running through the 27th. Many eyes are watching the festival this year because of the controversy surrounding the removal of so many games from their list of finalists. Never in the 13 years of the Slamdance Guerilla Gamemaker competition has anyone been removed from the list of finalists. To this date, one game was removed forcibly and six have dropped out in protest.
