Outsourcing has become pretty common for businesses interested in cutting costs and it has been happening in the gaming industry for years, just in secret. 1up has a great article up about Tose, a Japanese company that has been used as a coding factory for many games that we have grown to love over the years. Check out their client list for a who’s who in gaming including Capcom, Electronics Arts, Enix, Nintendo, Sega, Square, and THQ amongst many others.
