Two New Ways To Join The Halo 3 Beta

Last month, gamers were given the opportunity to sign up for the Halo 3 Beta via Halo3.com, although there seemed to be some confusion on when that was actually made available. But, if you didn’t make it to sign up then, don’t fret! Microsoft and Bungie have issued a press release announcing two more paths to sign up!
• Qualifying over Xbox Live and then being one of the first 13,333 “Halo 2” gamers to register for the “Rule of Three” program at http://www.halo3.com in early February.
• Purchasing the upcoming game “Crackdown™,” which hits store shelves in the U.S. on Feb. 20
Although the Crackdown path was already hinted at late last month in magazine ad for the game, no “official” word was given until now.
As for the XBL path, the rules are spelled out in the press release thusly: “Beginning Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at 12:01 a.m. EST, all gamers need to do is participate in at least three hours of “Halo 2” multiplayer sessions, via Xbox Live, before Feb. 3, 2007, at 11:59 p.m. EST”
Alright boys and girls, lets get out there, sign up and show them how gay gamers are gonna frag their asses! Go Team!
