Video Of Mario Kart 64 Glitch
Shortly after the release of Mario Kart 64 on Wii Virtual Console, reports came in that the game had a glitch in it. A few reporters from Go Nintendo recorded gameplay footage of the glitch in action. The glitch appears in the Moo Moo Farm stage of the game. After a few seconds of playing the stage, the speed of all the karts increases to “about double that of 150cc.”
It’s pretty wild to see the traditionally rather slow karts whipping around the track at breakneck F-Zero speeds. Has anyone else explored and exploited this glitch for hilarious replay footage? Let us know.

I have it and haven't had a problem, sadly, that looks like fun.
That video needs to be remixed with Yakety Sax.
Looks like a lot of fun though. I still haven't purchased any VC games yet, and I have a 2000 point card that I got for Christmas that wants to be used.
I havn't noticed this glitch, maybe it's just when playing with 3 people?
Doesn't that video look like just a sped-up version of the playback? I mean, look at their cornering. You'd think they would be hitting the walls more often. Whatever.
Well, it was already doing it on the N64, I don't see why everybody gets all hot about it, did you ever plays Mario Kart 64 with 4 players on the console? Try Skyscraper, it's a lot of fun \o/
This glitch IS present in the original.
