Wii Sports On A Theater Screen
I’m so jealous of these guys, I could spit. They had the right idea. Take a Wii, hook it up to a movie theater projector, provide a battery powered Wii sensor bar, and presto, a moment of legend! If I don’t get a movie theater at my disposal for my Wii birthday bash, there’s going to be hell to pay, and I mean business.

I saw that, and I thought they were talking about like a HUGE screen. Wii Sports on a theater screen isnt all that impressive. Some bigger better games on that would have been amazing. Like…obviously Zelda. But hell, Trauma Center would kick ass! Oh! Excite Truck!!!

I can totally see arcades in malls doing something along these lines. It’s like being a teen in the 80s again! w00t
actually, since I work for an IMAX theatre, this gives me an idea… I’m gonna see if I can get ahold of a Wii and talk the boss into letting me use the IMAX screen after hours…

I’ve been thinking Wii-like gameplay would be great for getting people back into arcades, but every game with a tethered controller that I’ve ever seen in a mall arcade or amusement park has had the controller ripped off of it sooner or later.
