Xbox Live Arcade, On Your Desktop

XBList 3.0 has just been released for PC users. Check it out, it’s a program that allows you to see what your friends are playing, check on incoming personal messages, friend requests and game invites, and you can even access your personal Live profile page. It looks like any chat program like AIM or MSN, but with far more robust features.
Oh wait, there’s more. The program offers links to Achievement comparisons, your Friend’s Live profiles and Bungie.net info for Halo 2 stats.
Imagine sitting at your desk, typing up some lame report or updating cells in your spreadsheet, and your Friend sends you a game invite for Halo 2 later this evening. You can accept said invitation and message his/her 360 in return. For those of you 360 fanatics who can’t bear being separated from your little white tower of gaming pleasure, this one’s for you.

I don’t own a 360 or XBox, but that’s pretty cool.
You can already do all this same stuff from a web browser by going to www.xbox.com and logging into your Xbox Live account. I check my Xbox Live emails from work all the time.
