5 Game Consoles That Never Saw The Light

Remember the NanoGear handheld console? Yeah, me neither. But, based on the look of the thing, it could've been pretty dang cool had it actually been produced and put into our hot little hands... since, y'know, we could actually use a handheld PC capable of high-end gaming. At least Dell is entering the handheld gaming mar... no, wait, strike that last thought.
TechEBlog is currently running the rather entertaining story of "5 Unreleased Video Game Systems You Never Knew About", which features a number of consoles that were worked on back in the 90s but never actually made it to final production. The list includes the NanoGear, Sega Neptune, Atari Jaguar Duo, Sega VR, and SNES CD... though I definitely remember hearing about that last unit, especially since it's what eventually evolved into the Sony Playstation. I was kind of curious as to why the Phantom didn't make it onto the list, but then I remembered that I'd actually heard of that system.

nitendo should release the sega vr with the wiimote. that would be freakin sweet
I have to correct one thing in the article.... it says the "NanoGear is what the GP2X should've been", when in fact the GP2X is what the GP2X should've been.
