A Million Twilight Princesses Sold in US

Nintendo is doing pretty well for itself. The Wii is a surefire success, despite all the laughter from naysayers, and the DS is the clear winner of the next generation of handheld gaming. The Wii is building a library of solid games, albeit a little slower than we were originally promised, but that's what Virtual Console is all about, right? And although few would be willing to admit it, Zelda is good enough for now.
Give it up for the big N, because the Wii has just made it's first million seller. What else could have accomplished that but The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? In an interview with IGN, NOA VP of marketing and corporate affairs, Perrin Kaplan, announced that the game has sold more than a million copies "...in the Americas alone." Kaplan went on to say that the company's goal of 6 million Wii systems sold worldwide by the end of March is on target.
Now that's a lot of rupee.

DS may be the next gen handheld winner when it comes to sales, but it's not the winner in this household. (It gets its love, but the PSP is my favorite.)
As to this news, of course Zelda was gonna sell a million, I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier. People have been wanting this game for years now, remember?
did i say i was surprised?
I'm low on money, so I decided to replay Wind Waker on my Wii while waiting for more money to magically appear so that I can buy Twilight Princess, which I CAN'T NOT get.
Awesome picture, btw. That outfit literally is hella tight.
link's the hottest game character ever. good to see he's getting lots o' love
