Final Fantasy VI Advance Site Live and More Localization Updates

The website for Final Fantasy VI Advance (FF VI being, IMO, the best in the series) has gone live. It greets you with the original rendition of Terra's Theme (creepy that I know the song by name) and gorgeous artwork. The site also has links to some footage, features of the updated title, information on the characters, a bestiary, and a legacy section displaying Final Fantasy VI's predecessors. Have a go at the site.
On top of the site going live, Siliconera is reporting that Square-Enix is taking the time to update the localization even more. ...but this is a good thing as it brings it closer to what the true original game was like. It adds some features that were dropped from the SNES release, changes a couple of names of characters (the most noticeable of which are that the Moogles no longer bear the 'Ku' prefix but have the 'Mog' prefix, instead) and abilities (ie. Cyan's SwdTech is now called Bushido). Going a step further with the characters, they have been given classes. Edgar is now labeled a machinist...this makes me wonder what Gogo will be classified as...transvestite, perhaps? For a few more localization updates, follow the Siliconera link.
Are you looking forward to this remake? I know I sure as hell am, I've been dying to replay it even though I have the original for the SNES, as well as the poorly emulated version for the PSOne.

oh kefka, how i miss thee. the greatest villain, ever. that's right, i said it!
I know, he has me...DANCING MAD!!
seriously, y'all. it's my favourite game of all time. i knew it had me when i heard the veldt theme and immediately had to buy the soundtrack.
oh the combat slowdown in the video makes me sad. I'm going to buy it for all of the text they are re-adding (apparently they ran out of room on the US SNES cart?!) but god I don't want slowdown in combat. -_-
Aww buggery. I was going to completely ignore this, and then the bloody theme hit when I clicked on the link and I... I got a little teary.
Bugger.
Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait.
From back when Square made GOOD RPGs comes the best of them all, portable. Unf.
On a whim, I downloaded the Japanese version of the GBA port as a ROM. The sound is butchered. :(
One of the best things about FF6 was the wonderful audio, and it's terrible. It has honestly made me think twice about buying the game.
