Gamer-tines For The One You Love
Um, ew? Has anyone else ever had an icky feeling when it comes to Kirby? It's not just the fact that he's a little pink puff that can swallow anything. Neither is it his perpetual look of vacant bliss that clearly has something to do with how much air he breathes in on a regular basis. It's just... there's something wrong. Which is why he (it?) makes a perfect valentine. Romance always needs a touch of the terribly, terribly wrong.
Valentine's Day is almost upon us yet again, and all I can say is "yippee" in the most sarcastic manner you can imagine. What can make this mass consumption based holiday a little more pleasurable but gamer based valentines? If you're desperately trying to come up with a way to say "love ya" to your real human love, why not give your sentiment in the guise of the true love of your life? That's right, video games!!
As an example, check out the latest VGCats! I know I'm always ranting about how great Scott Ramsoomair's webcomic, VGCats is, so I won't go into that yet again. Check out his homepage for printer friendly versions of his great cards, or just laugh out loud and hope that you too can be so lucky on the big V day.

I enjoyed the "I want you inside me" one...but for personal reasons which I'm not afraid to share in the chatroom.
Yeah, V-Day can go rot, as well as everyone involved in making it the slap in the face to single people that it is.
Bitter? Me? Nooooooo...
The first one: Hilarious. I love it.
The second one: What? OK, I get it, it's a Metroid reference, but what's that supposed to be, a morph... heart?
The third one: Adorable. I'm ok with there being 5 Pieces of Heart to a Heart Container in TP, but it looks weird on the status screen.
The last one (Kirby): Ew. No.
