GameStop Scared Of Circuit Boys?
Maybe the red-shirts over at Circuit City are what's spurred Aeris, GameStop's fake-phone-lady, into making all those tweaked-out, emotionally needy phone calls. Maybe not. Gamasutra reports that while Circuit City may be entering the used game racket, most of the pressure that puts on GameStop will "dissipate in the near-term."
I'm as big a fan of dissipation (the fun kind) as the next Eartha Kitt fanboy, but to be honest I'd love to see someone stick it to GameStop: stop making crazy phone calls, understand implicitly that there are no backsies, and stop trying to take over the goddamn world.
