Other stuff about you: I'm a flannel-wearing cub from the Northwoods of Wisconsin, an artist currently in graduate school (UW-Madison); work for the Home Depot; love movies and movie criticism; hobbies include: video games (of course), illustration, writing, yoga, mythology (I love Joseph Campbell), singing (used to be a choir boy), colony member of Delta Lambda Phi fraternity (soon to be a brother, hopefully).
I'm socially progressive, outspoken for equal rights including marriage equality; I'm in an interracial relationship with a Chicano man, which has opened my eyes to a great many things. My boyfriend's name is Gil, he's a counseling psych grad student, a model, a player in the Madison Gay Hockey Association, an all-around hottie and great guy, and I love him more than anything in this world. I am totally out to my family, friends, fellow students, and co-workers and everyone in my life not only tolerates but accepts me, and blesses my relationship (those who don't, don't get to be a part of my life), I am very lucky and I wish the same for every LGBT person on the planet.
I'm some sort of atheist/agnostic but I love learning about religion and reaching out to build bridges between people of different faiths and the LGBT community, because whatever path we take to reach justice and equality, we're all getting there together.
The coolest thing I've ever done was to meet George Takei.
I'm still in mourning, having recently ended a six year relationship with Sony over their outrageously priced PS3 and we are no longer on speaking terms, though maybe some day we can be friends.
