George Takei Pwns Tim Hardaway
In the pantheon of Gay Geek Gods, George Takei is pretty high up there. Lately we've been seeing a very funny, witty side of Mr. Takei as he showed in his hilariously naughty roast of William Shatner. Last night, George went on Jimmy Kimmel and gave his rebuttal to retired NBA player Tim Hardaway's recent very public admission that he is an unapologetic homophobe. Of course, Hardaway ended up having to do the old publicity "apology" backpedal (Michael Richards, anyone?) to get out some extremely hot water. But, that didn't stop George from going public with his hilarious and pointed reply.
George, once again you take the cake! You really know how to stick it to the man (in more ways than one)! We love you and are currently erecting a statue in your honor in the front lawn of Gay Gamer Castle. Bravo!

George Takei is the best, I think my favorite quote from him is when he made that appearance on Futurama.
Takei: "I find that offensive, you assume that because I am of Japanese ancestry that I know ka-ra-te. Have I ever lead you to believe that I know ka-ra-te?"
Shatner: "No, but you never talk about yourself."
T: "*sniffle* Well, maybe if someone showed a little interest..."

hehe, that was preety funny. But I find it a little weird that it says "gay activist" and Takai is willing to do all these campy gay jokes when he waited so long to finally come out.
Did anyone notice the license plate when he had his guest spot on Heros? If you look at the plate on his limo as he's about to drive off toward the end, it says NCC1701.
My God, he should of come out years ago! The world is so much better for it.
Takai pwned Hardaway. Those comments were totally uncalled for and I'm glad he's getting a lot of heat for them. I hope George does have sex with him.
