Harry Potter Bares AlI
As you may or may not know, Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter movies, is about to make his London stage debut in Equus, the 1975 award winning play about a mentally disturbed young man and his unnatural attraction to horses. The play was notable not only for its awards and subject matter, but also for the fact that main character is naked for the better part of the show which, in 1975, was still rather shocking.
Well, Radcliffe sparked some shocks of his own when these promo photos from the show featuring Radcliffe in the altogether started surfacing around the internets. Teenage girls everywhere were shocked and gay men looked, enjoyed it and then felt dirty. There's no denying that Mr. Radcliffe has grown in to quite the smokin' young stud at the tender age of 17, but I don't think most people were prepared to see their favorite boy wizard in the buff. It's interesting how unwilling our brains are to accept the fact that our child stars grow up, become adults and grow happy trails that would make a Freshman magazine model jealous.
If we're lucky, perhaps the next Harry Potter game will include an unlockable "Harry's Birthday Suit" costume. Are you listening EA? You'd sell a million copies...

Interestingly, if these were in a men's magazine they would be considered porn. But these photos have appeared on almost every major news website across the world as "promo photos" for the show. Apparently it's quite a fine line...

Equus is a very interesting play. In the play Alan Strang (Dan's character) has an almost cult like obsession with horses and rides them naked at night. He is admitted to a psychiatric hospital when he, for reasons unknown, blinds six horses with a pike. The story is a brain sploshun about man's addiction to normalcy in life and how some people want to be free but they can't get out of the box that society keeps them in.
Alan Stran in clothes is, per se, Alan Strang as society wants him to be. So if Dan HADN'T decided to take all his clothes off for the nude scenes, it would have done the play injustice.
And yes, he is very gorgeous, but I'm 24 so that'll I'll I'll say about that. ;)
I think that if it'd been promo shots for him in character as Harry Potter, it would also have been KP in the US because it'd be a depiction of someone underage naked. But who knows, the way the laws around here change.

He is underage by U.S. standards......but he is not from the U.S. he is from the UK and the play is in the UK. So our laws do not apply
