Ikaruga Shooting Its Way Up To Xbox 360

More news from those lovely Brits over at CVG. They have alerted the gaming community that legendary shooter, Ikaruga, has been confirmed for Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade. Ikaruga was released on the Dreamcast (which I managed to secure a copy of) and, more recently, on the Gamecube (2003). CVG discovered it when they fired up their debug version of Xbox Live, downloaded it and got as far as the Treasure logo before it crashed..but still, Ikaruga...on the 360...nice.
The title is well known for its beauty and its difficulty. It certainly is no walk in the park, by any means. CVG makes note that Ikaruga is a spiritual successor to Radiant Silvergun. Early, last month, we reported that a title by the name of Radiant Silvergun 3 was listed as coming out for the Xbox 360. Might this actually be what G-Rev meant? That remains to be seen...but I am just happy that I'll be playing Ikaruga in delicious high-def sometime soon, are you?

you know I gotta say I am really impressed with how the xbox marketplace thingy is working 0o
Ooohhh lovely. The Dreamcast game is hard to find, so I can't wait to play this.
