New FFXIII Sexy Male Character, Details Include Shoe Size
Just who might that guy be to your right? Besides being mind searingly hot in a totally unrealistic male model sorta way, he's another main character from Final Fantasy XIII! ...And he's going by the name of... Mr. 33 cm??
Apparently it's a reference to his shoe size, which is just slightly horrifying. According to an International Shoe Size Convertor, that's essentially a size 17 shoe. Those are some big feet. And he appears to wield a large gun. You're already thinking it, so I'm not going to make that obligatory joke.
Japanese gaming mag Gemaga recently spoke with Tetsuya Nomura, and he dropped some more details to the much anticipated game. Mr. 33 cm is described as a "heroic type" who fights in a wild and humorous manner. Great, so he's a showboat now too? I'm guessing he's some combination of Setzer and Locke, personality-wise.
Perhaps of more interest, the combat aspect of the game is being handled by Toshiro Tsuchida, the creator of Front Mission. There will be a blend of different combat styles ranging from those we've seen in KH and Dirge of Cerberus, with the camera changing position according to the style of fighting. For instance, the camera will be first person when using a gun and third person while wielding a sword. Airships have also been confirmed to make an appearance.
Nomura also went on to say that he will put all his attention on Versus XIII until it is finished, but wants that to be his last Final Fantasy so that he can focus on Kingdom Hearts III after that.
Did I say Mr. 33 cm makes me feel inadequate?

Oh they can NOT keep that name when it comes to the US...I mean they just can't.
So is Square still doing Playstation excluives for Final fantasy? I thought I heard somewhere that they were going to bring it to other consoles. I am not buying a ps3, so I'll be SOL if they do (but at least I'll have Halo3 to keep me warm).
I bet they change that name when it gets to the US to something less funny. "Longschlong Mcgee" sounds about right.
You know what they say about guys with big feet...they have big socks! And FF remains a PS3 exclusive through at least 13. I haven't heard anything different at the moment.
The best part is that if you convert 33 cm to inches, it comes out to just over a foot.
That's right. In America, he'd be called Mr. Footlong. Hot.
However, the best two things about this interview were in the last sentence.
1. It will be Nomura's last Final Fantasy (I'm getting sick of the really pretty-boy men).
2. He wants to focus on Kingdom Hearts III. Which means there is going to definitely BE a KHIII. Hellz yes.

You mixed up the info about the battle system; it's not from FF XIII but from Versus.
The hunk is from the main game, though. ;D And no, I don't think his real name will be Mr. 33 cm either.
This installment of Final Fantasy seems to have a lot of its main characters names in code words or nicknames...interesting.
