New Pics Of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War
Ever since I first espied Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War on the virtual pages of somebody else's Shonen Jump, I've been excited (alongside a gazillion other Final Fantasy fans) to see the franchise make the leap to the PSP.
It's hard to tell from this smattering of media whether or not The Lion War will be comparable in any way to that Revenant Wings footage ye olde Pirate Prince put up, but since the gameplay I've seen of that game looks more like a RTS than a turn-based system, they're likely to be apples and oranges. However, at least one FFXII character (Balthier!) will be turning up in The Lion War, so there's bound to be a good degree of familiarity, at least. Here's to not having to learn three separate Final Fantasy universes...

I'm so excited for this game too Tiny. If the rumours are true and there is some sort of ad-hoc multiplayer mode, that would just be awesome.
This is probably my all-time favorite FF, over FFVII and FFVI.
Hey there Tiny! You know this is a remake/update of FFT on the PS1, right? They added FMV and the FFXII character, but other than that it's just the same game you likely played on the PS1. Which is fine with me!
I'm a little concerned about Balthier being tacked on. as it is, Cloud's inclusion felt hackneyed and last minute, as there was little reason to use him thanks to the massive delay attributed his Limit skill.
I would rather see a true FFT sequel than the remake this is receiving, as I loved the political intrigue of this game.
oh well, maybe they'll at least get the translation right this time.
This is so awesome! FF Tactics for my DS, and one for my PSP when I actually get it. Lol! Revenant Wings makes my heart go Thump Thump at the thought. :O I can't wait for all this great RPG goodness!
