Odin Sphere English Site... Already?
Atlus must really be pushing this game, because since reporting some Odin Sphere media yesterday, a beautiful English site has already gone up. That's right, in ENGLISH.
There's some purdy Gaelic/Celtic (I've never bothered to know the difference) sounding music, and a look at the story and the main characters. My personal favorite is Cornelius, the "tragic prince" and not just because he wears tights, but because I'm a sucker for a fighting anthropomorphic animal. Bring me some more characters like Red XIII, Frog from Chrono Trigger, or Usagi Yojimbo and you've got me pleased as spiked punch.
RPG's are seriously missing out on this much needed character role! Apart from the Shadow Hearts series and the newly released Rogue Galaxy, most RPG's have been taking that rather serious road of an all human cast with all too human stereotypes. Come on, mix it up and make that weak female healer a talking barracuda! Now that's entertainment. But, I digress...
Look at the site! Enjoy, and know that you'll be able to get your nordic loving hands on it in late spring of this year. Along with Persona 3, Atlus is keeping my PS2 plugged in.

You're so right about the all human casts. Sure FFXII had Fran, but I wanted a strapping Bangaa among the group and a moogle would have been great too. Especially with their FFTA/FFXII design, which I love.
