Rockstar Employs Graffiti In Warriors' Guerrilla Marketing Campaign

OK, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you think that Rockstar Games would want to, I don't know, not piss off more members of the general public than would normally be offended by their games?
It seems that our favorite developer is engaged in a guerrilla marketing campaign for their upcoming The Warriors (for the PSP) that involves spattering graffiti around New York. I can only wonder how long it'll take for someone to be offended and then get the government involved, which will result in some hefty fines for Rockstar and Take 2; 'cuz, you know, Michael Bloomberg is just going to love corporate advertising dirtying up his streets.

I'm mosty just pissed off at the incorrigible color combination. Honestly, coral red on dirty stone? It's practically illegible. Goddam guerrillas.
It's a bomb! Shut the whole city down!
Alas, there are no LED lights attached.
how do we know that rockstar were the ones who painted that?
Not as awesome as having somebody run around and challenging people to fight, "Warriors style! Out now for ps2, xbox, and soon to be psp!"
*start rant*
If a corporation decides to pull this crap in my area I will be sure to carry around some spray paint and cover up those logos as soon as possible, I do not desire to see yet another art form be taken over by advertisers.
Since people can be arrested or fined for spraypainting on the side of a building (depending on where you live) I sure as hell hope Rockstar Games is held accountable for this, I love their games but happen to respect game/console developers more for their ethics and practices than for what they can create.
*end rant*
Yeah, I saw that on the sidewalk outside of a Starbucks yesterday. Meh. NYC's full of guerilla marketing crap on the streets; no one's gonna really notice.
