Rumor: Guitar Hero II for 360 To Feature Halo Theme 'Mjolnir Mix'
Last month, Red Octane had a press release listing some of the songs that will be available for download on the 360 edition of Guitar Hero II. Rumors abound that the upcoming game "will feature the Halo Theme that Steve Vai performed for the Halo 2 soundtrack as a downloadable song." If you still aren't familiar...it's the Halo theme played with a great sounding electric guitar. While not as grand as say, Jimmy Hendrix's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, it's still pretty cool and will fit right in on the 360. I have not ever played GH II, but perhaps I'll see what everyone is raving about on the 360. For the some of the songs that will be available for download over Xbox Live, make the jump.
In the meantime, if you could pick and choose video game themes to play on GH II, what would you pick? Don't limit yourself to 360 games, just pick whatever you'd like.

I don't plan to go near the 360 or any of its various versions of things, but since you brought up a GH wishlist, there's an OC Remix called Mach Schnell that I often get stuck in my head and wish I could groove to on that plastic guitar. I'm always disappointed when I think about that and then remember it's not actually in either of the games, but just an mp3 I have.

hey andy umm i think there is alot of songs that everyone wants to jam to but fact is the Halo theme is most likely going to happen. I for one want some MetallicA. Maybe even a sublime song to jam to but prolly not to happen anytime soon you SHOULD go near the 360 its awsome
