Sony Announces Wipeout For PS3

Sony really needs their exclusive titles to sell PS3s for this generation. One by one, we have been watching titles slip on and off the PS3 exclusive title list. They have some hot numbers coming up, with both Final Fantasy XIII games, Afrika, Devil May Cry 4, and Metal Gear Solid 4. Now Sony adds yet another game to the must have exclusive titles list, by way of Wipeout.
Playing a Wipeout game is like pure adrenaline pulsing through your veins. It’s the simple rush of speed, with slick, responsive controls that hug the track. Bass pounding beats that bounce you along the ride. Wipeout is like digital candy, you always want another small piece.
The director of Sony Liverpool, Clemens Wangerin, announced the development of the Wipeout game for the PS3 in an interview with Develop magazine. He also said that there might be an online mode with multiplayer content. At this point in the game, they must have online support to stay competitive. I would be broken if I popped the game in, and saw that there wasn’t an online multiplayer option.

isnt devil may cry 4 and metal gear solid 4 coming out on the 360 as well? or are those still in the rumor stages?
isn't that just the mighty F-Zero with a different badge on? (...yes it is.) Liverpool Studios and Sony still pulling that old scam, eh?
Wow, we must have played different versions of Wipeout. While visually it's an amazing game, my experience consisted of nothing but smashing into the walls before giving up in frustration.
ffviii? you mean xiii, right? or am I deliciously wrong?
I hope you mean Final Fantasy XIII, if not, I weep for the world.
Oh dear, might be a possible reason for a ps3 then - I love Wipeout and if it's as good as Wipeout Pure I fear I won't be able to resist the cell-processed monster anymore...
F-Zero is way better than Wipeout...
love wipeout, so I now have 2 reasons to eventually get a PS3 (FFXIII being the other). Havent played any of the new incarnations of F-Zero but the one on SNES was fun.
