The Burning Crusade Spreads To China

Blizzard has entered into an agreement with the ominous sounding, The9, to bring The Burning Crusade to mainland China. Said company manages WoW in China where more than 3.5 million people play the game. More announcements about the localization will be made in the coming months...meaning that the highly acclaimed expansion pack will not be coming to China in the very-near future. Here's a bit more about what the new agreement will do:
The new agreement between Blizzard and The9 includes provisions for hardware upgrades to the existing World of Warcraft infrastructure to enable the best gaming experience possible for players in China. Working closely with Blizzard's global teams, The9 will continue providing local community management, technical support, and 24/7 in-game customer service. The9 also manages distribution of game cards and the physical hosting of World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade on local servers.
Sounds like they've got it right, but I just thought of something. I wonder if the Chinese government monitors/censors the conversations that take place in-game? Any of you happen to play the game and live in China? It's jsut a passing thought, but back to the topic at hand. This part of the world will no doubt greatly expand the number of Dranei and effeminate Blood Elves scurrying about the virtual world. ...and I'm sure Blizzard will make a pretty penny off of it, too.
