The Manliest Men of Final Fantasy

The illustrious Faith, from The Girl Gamer, has posted her choices for the manliest men of Final Fantasy. I was surprised to see that the majority of them come from Final Fantasy VI. It's just not something that ever came to mind. I mean, I knew Sabin was a manly man, but Banon? Like I said, it just never occurred to me. Other notables on the list are Yang from FF IV, Amarant from FF IX, Barrett from FF VII and Sir Auron from FF X. ...but rather than spoil the list, I'll let you hop on over there and read the list for yourself. It's great and you should check it out.

*sigh*... I'll be the first to point it out, cause otherwise someone else will come along and be much more mean about it: *cringes* Amarant's from IX. *runs away and hides in the corner*
Thanks for the heads up, my deathly cold fingers got ahead of me, this morning.
It just looks like they have a bunch of hair product because of hardware limitation. Dirty and messy is probably one of the hardest thing to render. Basch's hair seems pretty similar to Banon. Balthier and Sabin hairstyle also have some resemblance. Personally, those two from FFXII are probably some of the manliest men in Final Fantasy. They don't get emo as much as any male characters in any other rpg tend to get.
It's odd that they left Basch out - he's a manly man's man, even though he suffers from the virtuous knight-in-a-shining-armor syndrome.
I also disagree with choosing Banon - he's a healer, for cripes sakes! How is that manly? :P ... Well, unless you fantasize about doctors and he-nurses...
Apparently, manliest for them means Daddy, Badboy, and/or Facial Hair.
