My Sims Wii Trailer
The whole concept of The Sims has always freaked me out a little. There's just something not quite right about having that much control over these tiny computer generated lives. Personally, I don't want to have to tell them when to go to the damn bathroom or go to work. If I wanted to go to that much trouble, I'd have a kid. I also find that the novelty of the Sims, for me at least, ended once I got the house built and got my two male characters to become a couple. After that it's just a boring drone of get up, go to work, come home, eat and go to bed.
I know, I know. You're probably saying "But Fruit Brute, what about all the expansions? Now they can go on vacation and enjoy the seasons and do all kinds of non work related stuff!" To that I say, "I think I'd rather be doing those things myself than watching my little self created minions have all the fun."
Now The Sims are coming to the Wii. Not that this is new news exactly, but it's interesting to see some of the changes the Sims have made in their translation from the PC to Nintendo's great white hope. Most obvious is the cutesy Animal Crossing meets Harvest Moon look of the whole thing. Little big headed people living in tiny buildings that look like they could barely accommodate one of these people's heads much less a group of them. I'm curious to see exactly how much of the original gameplay stays in tact for this version. I really don't relish the idea of watching these adorable sprites take a dump, make out or worse, have sexual relations. And I pray to whatever deity that might be listening, that no one decides to make with a nude patch.

I am terrified of the possibilities this game holds.
If anyone actually does merge Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing... I can kiss my life goodbye. Re-arranging my town and farming, with social interactions? Holy crap.
Also, with these sims, how do I make them have mansex? That would look really odd...
The cuteness is fascinating.
This is totally how the Mii's should have looked from the begining. Tho...boxing those cute faces might be a bit harsh.
