Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None Comes To The Wii

When Telltale Games put out an employment listing for a Wii programmer, rumors began to fly that the Sam and Max series would make a pit stop on the Wii. That has not been ruled out as a possibility, but what we do know is The Adventure Company is porting Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None from the PC to the Wii for a fall release.
For those of you who never participated in a summer reading program, And Then There Were None is the modern title for Ten Little Indians by Ms. Christie. In the game and the novel, 10 mysterious characters are invited to a mansion on Shipwreck Island where the host of the affair fails to appear. The game sticks pretty closely to the original story, but introduces the player as a new character to the plot. You play the boatman who brings each of the main characters to the island and is then trapped there with the rest of the bunch.
There has not been any information released about gameplay, but I can imagine they will utilize the Wiimote functionality for super snooping action. I would love to see them implement some care in moving around objects with the Wii remote, so as others would not to let onto your sleuthing. Could be interesting, but I would want to play the game like Elebits, and tear the scene apart while looking for items and clues. That probably wouldn’t go over really well with the other guests in the house.

But I already know whodunit!
How are they going to address that issue, I wonder?
