DS Lite Rumble Pak That Actually Fits
Stateside, you've either got to import a DS Lite-sized rumble pak or suck it up and play with an older GBA-sized cart. I've always wanted some force feedback to help me improve my Elite Beat Agents (or so I hope, rather desperately...as Fruit Brute won't let me play Ouendan! until I'm good enough!), but I never wanted to deal with the annoying sticky-outtie-ness of an old cartridge.
But yay! The new third-party DS rumble pak from eWin that fits flush with my bite-sized handheld is now available for about $10, a full $14 less than the imported alternative - and from the review on GBA Temp, better-performing as well:
The rumble feature in the eWin rumble pak feels very different [from the official pak]; tested in the same situations in various games; the feedback felt more like what you'd expect compared to that given by the Nintendo pak. While still not silent; the noise that the eWin rumble produced was a lot quieter than the official pak.

oh thank god! I love hotel dusk but having the gba-sized rumble pack on it is totally killing me.
I received the official old style GBA slot rumble pack when I bought my copy of Big Brain Academy at Toys R Us. But haven't really used it. I essentially gave it to my brother who uses it on his DS Phat.
Plus I don't think I have very many games that use the rumble but this might be a worthwhile investment if I want to get another rumble pack for myself.
