Fawlty Towers Counter-Strike Map?

Yes, a Fawlty Towers map...in Counter-Strike: Source. It's a shame the Brute doesn't play Counter-Strike, or I might try to get him to verify the accuracy of the map, itself. While it looks like a lovely locale, it's a shame John Cleese isn't running about and I am very sure many a blood bath will take place here in this otherwise idyllic scene. lovely news! the britcom-lover in me might start playing counter strike: source now because of that map...
Hmm... Okay, I haven't played CS:S in a very long while. I know I am going to get pwnt like a nub in heat, but I've got to see what this looks like in a match.
Well I recently got CS:S when I bout half Life 1, 2 and Episode 2 a few weeks ago because I decided to finally try them out for myself. As a big FT Fan I had to say the map was slightly accurate and had its funny parts. Each round starts with a musical interlude from the show and a radio in an upper east bedroom near a window with a hostage inside is playing more music. The layout of the rooms is kind of questionable, but that's because it was a TV show set, after all.
The map didn't seem to display the rooms layout as I'd imagined them in my head watching the show. It also has these evil cabinets which allow you to see out while hiding on the inside but which you can't see in via the outside. It's a real camper's map in that regard. I also noticed it was easy to jump through the windows without breaking them from the inside, which was kind of odd, and the curtains placed on the windows were a bit annoying. Even more annoying, though, was the furniture which made it nearly impossible to get through some doors if you accidentally knocked it around. That gave my enemies more than one darn good opportunity to shoot me at point blank range with a shotgun just because I tried to make it past the dining area into the lobby. Each room was very accurate with its look to the show, at least. I don't know if the bathrooms were all that accurate and a few gags like a blow up doll and posters dedicated to Basil were strewn about. Most of the rooms at least looked like Fawlty Towers rooms.
All-in-all the outside of the towers is nailed dead-on with only a ladder put in place to make the second floor more easily accessible from the outside. The main entrance wasn't exactly where I remembered it, though. I think that was the main fault of this map. While It nailed the look on the outside the inside had to be switched around and distorted a bit to meet the form of the building and/or give the map some strategy. The inside just didn't feel like the set of the show.
Playing through it again, I found the layout of the rooms makes sense if I enter from the back. I'm not sure if thats where the actual entrance in the show was supposed to be. My memory is a little fuzzy. I just think everything needs to be rotated 90 degrees inside, then it would make more sense. But yeah the layout does make sense if you approach it from a different angle. The restaurant located behind the front desk and stairs going up to the rooms and what-not. The details on the wall paper are also a little blue but that's probably just the fault of real time lighting.
The use of HDR lighting was an added benefit of the map which was pretty spiffy. All-in-all a good job faithful to the show. With a few minor bug fixes with the windows, a reduction in furniture in the dining area, and less camping zones this could easily be a fantastic map worthy of my next big LAN party, in my opinion.
