For Now, Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Final Fantasy XIII: Fabula Nova Crystalis

The same androgynous boy with different hairstyles? Nope. Just the main characters from the biggest Final Fantasy series in production since that whole mess of games and merchandise that came out of Final Fantasy VII.
Looks like Japan has it's own PlayStation magazine, but unlike it's American cousin, hasn't bit the big one. That's a very good thing, because the magazine recently ran a 23 page article on the Final Fantasy XIII: Fabula Nova Crystalis set of releases. For those who don't know, and I really don't think there are any people out there who don't, that is: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the PS3 as well as Final Fantasy Agito XIII for mobile consoles. I'm pretty sure we will never see much sign of the latter over here due to our pathetically incomparable cellphones, but you can be sure they will release the two PS3 games, considering it will be the biggest pull yet for the system.
RPGamer has compiled the whole article. View it here and be wowed by Shiva and a bunch of light glinting off weapons. Most of all glory at the impossible beauty of Nomura's characters and wonder to yourself if they all don't look rather related. I gotta tell you, it worries me.

I'm so confused. Some of parts of the article is clearly Japanese, other parts contain no kana whatsoever. I gotta assume it's Chinese. It's a damn shame, I can't understand a good chunk of it.
I'm real intrested in seeing what the similarities and "shared myth" that will happen between all three games. It sounds like "The Crystals" in this new project and taking a WAY more stronger role this time around.
OMFG THEY'RE ALL SO GORGEOUS!!!! i'm sorry, but square is just too good at making hot video game characters. i mean, who the hell thinks up such gorgeous men?
I heard that the three stories are only going to be related by the fact that they all involve crystals, other thant that they take place on different worlds and with different characters.
Nomura is obviously as gay as the day is long. Kingdom Hearts 2 anyone? Even without that shining example, he is probably the most prolific bishie designer the gaming world has ever seen. And the character designs for FFXIII just take the cake.
Fabula Nova Crystalis has GOT to be a drag queen's name... In fact, I'm fairly sure I've seen her perform before.
