GDC 07: The Aftermath And A Thank You
Wow, GDC was a really amazing and exhausting experience. So much happened and we will be continuing to report about it over the next few days. I did want to take a minute to say thanks to everyone who came and made our little gathering a success on Saturday night. We ended up with about 60 people all told and everyone was wonderfully nice. And a big shout out to our brothers and sisters over at Gamer's Experimentations and the folks from the Pride High comic who came and added to the merriment. It was a great time and terrific to see so many of our clan all in one place playing multiple group sessions of Mario Kart and Elite Beat Agents, hanging out and having a good time.
So on behalf of myself and the rest of the GG staff, thanks for making our trip a memorable one. Keep an eye out later for Boy of Tomorrow's photos from the big event!

Although I wish that I could have stayed long enough to attend the Gay Gamer party, I'm glad that I was able to meet the Gay Gamer crew and, well, have a stiff cocktail.
Cheers,
Jesse
Hear Hear! The gathering at the Pilsner was more fun than a barrel of Super Monkey Balls. I agree Fruit Brute - everyone was incredibly nice, and it was awesome to meet so many like-minded gamers and have some fun (and a lot of beer).
I might just host my own informal meeting of this kind in a month or so, so Bay Area residents take note!
great to have met y'all on Saturday.
had so much fun. how much fun?
well, let's just say that the only thing more geek-tastic than a group game of Mario Kart (DS) is two group games of Mario Kart-ing!
ah yee-ahh!
The gathering was a great time. Nice to have met all of you who make this site happen and have a few cocktails. Thanks for everything guys :)
That was crazy fun! I'm glad to have met you all (and to have re-met some of you as gamers.) I hope to see more GayGamer events and to get my friends over at GamersEx mingling with you all too! Now to go tend to my poor abused liver....
Crazy fun indeed... What a great turnout! Hats off and a big thanks to all the Bayfolk who gave us such a warm welcome all week long. Saturday was a night to remember, or not, your blood alcohol level depending...
I might just have to go bi-coastal! (Or is it just a phase?)
