Gish 2 In Development
The brains behind the smash indie hit Gish are at it again with Gish 2. Alex Austin and Edmund McMillen will reprise their roles as programmer and artist on the new title for development studio Cryptic Sea. There is no information available on the title at the moment, no release date, nothing. Just rest assured that if it’s anything like Gish, it will be a great title.
For those of you who are not familiar with the game Gish, let me give you a quick rundown. Essentially the game is a 2D platformer with 3D stages where you play a little piece of black tar that must navigate various obstacles to clear each stage. The game has fantastic physics and delightfully squishy macabre artwork. Gish plays really well, but the artwork is the seller on this game. It’s really a knockout, so check out the demo on the Chronic Logic site.
