God Of War II: Urn Of Gaia Location Video
Now that I've gone and beaten God of War II, I've been in a giving mood and feel like sharing some of the insights I've gleaned about the game. Today I felt I would show you how to uncover the Urn of Gaia, which allows players to earn ten times the normal amount of experience from killing enemies. You can find it early on in the game's story, shortly after you crash-land in the Rhodes Palace: during the pressure plates puzzle, break the statue and then move the remaining block from the middle button over to the right and into the next hallway. Then, place the block below the chests at the end of the passage and use it as a stepping stone to get up to the chests. The middle container holds the urn.
This is the first of the game's unlockable urns, each of which grant Kratos a special ability. Next up (sometime within the next couple of days) is the Urn of the Gorgons.

Gaahhh! I'm so PISSED I missed that.
Been meaning to blog about my impressions so far of GOW II. But I've been too busy playing it!
Not very far in, though. Just arrived at the, um, island (trying not give any spoilers away) after getting my first magic ability.
I did see those chests up there, but figured I'd be able to come back for them. I don't remember the first game feeling so linear.
I broke down and went to GameFaqs to see about those chests since they kept bugging me, and I learned that I missed my chance.
Been entertaining the thought of just starting over so I can get them and the urn. Given your description of the urn's ability (10x the XP), I may have to.
Good thing, I really don't mind a do over with Kratos. I could do it again and again with him. :-)
@NotAwesome
You can only use the urns after you beat the game, and only on the same or lower difficulty level.
I actually found all of the 4 urns on my first run.
Now the challenges are being a bitch...
Having finished the game in 1 day made me grumpy... I want more...
Well, I still want to beat up Zeus as the COD OF WAR eheheh.
